SARINA JOSEPH

Sarina’s role within Corporate Risks is to maintain a high-level overview of the business administration and financial management.   She works closely with the Managing Director and Investigations Manager to develop, initiate and implement efficient administration & financial systems and through careful attention to detail, ensures that the business functions effectively and seamlessly.

Sarina’s strong administrative background has provided Corporate Risks with a sound audit and quality assurance profile which has proved to be essential when managing a client base of varying complexities. Many of the systems which she has designed and implemented have provided clients with a clear and transparent audit trail, quantifying (with accuracy) time, activity and costs relating to specific investigations. She oversees the management and review the investigator's electronic time sheets, travel expenses and all other associated disbursements - and maintains a close working relationship with the Corporate Risks independent accountant. Sarina’s focus on effective financial management, creating a clear and meticulous audit path for the Corporate Risks client base,  has played an integral part in enabling CR to develop multiple strategies for dealing with large-scale and complex investigations with clients maintaining a detailed, informed and accurate knowledge of all evolving costs.

As the client base of Corporate Risks began to rapidly expand in 2001, Sarina took up the General Manager’s position. This followed a distinguished career in teaching (between 1980 and 1991) which was subsequently followed by the setting up and management of her own highly acclaimed Preschool Education Centre which she owned and operated for ten years.

The opening of this pre-school in September 1991 saw the introduction of several innovative teaching concepts not usually encountered in the early childhood arena at that time.  The early learning philosophy, which was promoted and developed by Sarina, fast became a resounding success.  Her business, which opened in September 1991, had a full roll (and an extensive waiting list) within 4 months of opening.  The waiting list endured during the full ten-year period of her ownership. This is a testimony to her highly tuned business acumen, vision & skills.

Sarina continues to focus on the development of innovative management systems which has helped to establish Corporate Risks as a leading business, providing efficient services to a wide range of clients. She also continues to manage the subsidiary company that provides the Corporate Risks infrastructure.
